First Dollar

Have I told you about our first dollar, dear? Oh, yes we finally get paid in Dollar. I still cannot believe it. It's a translation agency, asking me to help translating 4-5 pages into English.
Well, of course I've been very delighted eventough many translator fellow have told the bad story about Indian agency. But then I thought, why dont we try and have a look on the result.

So, my brother and me get the work done on the same day and send it to them. The agency said that they will pay within 30-45 days. Such a long period, huh? We're then forget about it and keep waiting as nothing ever happen, until one day the money received in his Paypal account. Wee.. our first dollar arrived, bro! Let's hope it will bring another dollar to our account in the future ^_^

Finally... BIG EMAIL.

oh, dear.. finally the BIG EMAIL came. It was on the last 30th of April.
I don't know why I stay a bit late at the office and telling myself that I'm sure the email will come today. And WOW... It's true. 16:55 I saw the email on my inbox. Thanks God.

Mungkin karena keyakinanku itu juga, aku ga begitu surprise saat membaca email tersebut. Hanya perasaan lega bahwa akhirnya ada kepastian. I'm now formally selected candidate. Beda dengan saat pertama kali aku baca email panggilan wawancara, yang langsung bikin aku dag dig dug, ga percaya bahwa aku dipanggil. Apapun rasanya, aku sangat bersyukur bahwa perjuangan ini membuahkan hasil.
